Digital Excellence Awards are Website Awards that recognize and promote the talent of the best designers and web agencies in the world.

What Are the Digital Excellence Awards?
Digital Excellence Awards serves as an agency directory, a competition that agencies can submit to, and a source for industry-related articles.
We judge award competition entries at random and independently of each other. The judges do not compare one entry to other entries in their categories. There is no preset number of winners in a category. There are no lengthy essays to persuade the judges.
The judges evaluate all work solely on its own quality, creativity, and resourcefulness.
What Are the Judging Criteria?
We use a few criteria to determine the winners of each award. Here is a simplified list:
- Since there can be a tremendous variance of resources from one entrant to another, and from one piece to another, the perceived budget is taken into consideration in the judging.
- Based on their work experiences, judges have an expectation for each individual entry. For example, a student-produced project is not held to the same expectation as a piece produced by a Madison Avenue agency for a Fortune 500 company.
- We aim to award excellence, not rank web designers and creators from best to worst.
How Are Entries Submitted?
For each entry, you will be asked to fill in a URL or upload a preview image of your work. Since each entry is judged on its own merits, in most cases, no accompanying materials or explanations are necessary. Each entry will have a box for permission to display the entry in the winner’s list and website gallery. If permission is not granted, the entry will be seen only by the judges.
Winners will receive a certificate to commemorate their achievement.
